本机床适用于机械、冶金……等制造业的单件小批或成批生产，用于刨削大型或重型零件的各种平面、成型面或沟槽面。
机床的主切削运动和进给运动均为液压传动，可无级变速，传动平稳，具有液压过载保险装置。切削力大，机床刚性好，油温低，热变形小，精度稳定。
机床滑座能横向自动进给和快速移动。
机床刀架具有自动抬刀和进给机构，操作方便。
Being designed for machining of various plane, formed surface or groove surface on giant or heavy-duty workpiece, the machine is suitable for machinery and metallurgy in single-piece, small or batch production.
The feeding and main cutting motion of the machine are driven by hydraulic power with smooth transmission and their speed can be adjusted steplessly. A safety device against overload is provided in the hydraulic system with low oil temperature. The machine, with high rigidity, is characterized by big cutting force, less thermo-deformation and stable machining accuracy.
Automatic horizontal-feeding and rapid motion can be obtained by the slide carriage of the machine.
