滑枕往复动动可在工作中调速、不必停车。
滑枕、工作台和油泵都是单独电动机带动。
机床设有各种安全装置。机床附有电磁自动抬刀的刀架和刀杆。刀架用天外插削，刀杆用于内插削和插键槽。
